High-quality materials, contemporary design - that's what OHH LUILU stands for. When it comes to manufacturing our products, we work with worldwide renowned manufacturers, that even luxury brands rely on. We use recycled 925 sterling silver for the production of our jewelry. Gold-plated designs are coated with multiple layers of solid gold. For our plating we use 18-carat gold, which makes the surfaces shine and guarantees longevity. We use a 10x stronger tarnish protection than the industry and our jewels are given a 925 stamp, which indicates the fineness of the precious metal. Hand-picked gemstones such as onyx, labradorite, mother-of-pearl or zirconia are used for finishing. All materials are hypoallergenic and nickel free. In addition to the highest quality standards, we also ensure that our values are adhered to along the entire value chain and monitor this through regular visits to the production facilities in Thailand, Italy and Germany.
We are aware of our responsibility as a company in the fashion industry and are committed to a transparent way of working.
It is our ultimate goal to manufacture a high quality, but also affordable product, while at the same time keeping an eye on variables such as raw material extraction, transport routes and packaging materials. This is a great challenge that we are taking on with great care.
We create long-lasting products of the highest quality and attach great importance to the fact that our jewelry is obtained responsibly. We primarily rely on recycled materials. In order to counteract the throwaway society, we have also launched a repair service. Beloved pieces of jewelry are freshened up and made to shine again.
All of our employees have been climate-positive through the non-profit organization Planted since 2021.
We are proud to have relocated a large part of our production to Germany in order to shorten transport routes and also to minimize our CO2 footprint there.
